The newsletter will bring you up to date with our activities and other news. Hanef has written an obituary on Tony Bianchi who died this year. Our well worn banner made it latest appearance at his funeral.

On 12th June 1964 Nelson Mandela was sentenced to imprisonment at the Rivonia Trials. We have come a long way since then and many of us have been involved in other campaigns and action to end injustice and promote freedom. In our country and abroad.

Organisation of our walk this year has been disrupted by the election. It is therefore a little later on Sunday 25th June and starts at 11am from King George's Field adjacent to St. Donat's Castle, Llantwit Major.

TONY BIANCHI unfortunately passed away in July 2017. There was a good crowd of people at his Humanist funeral from all walks of life. Much has been written about his contribution to Welsh culture and his work in literature in English and Welsh. He was viewed as one of the finest writers in Welsh society.
