Hello everyone,

It’s that time of the year again. When Hanef is starting to think of visiting South Africa and I start bothering you for sponsorship money and/or donations.

This year marks 39 years since the Soweto Massacre of over 1000 African school children in June 1976.  ACTSA Cymru is commemorating by raising money for projects in Southern Africa through a 10 mile sponsored walk along the South Wales coast.

This year's walk will be held on Sunday 21st June 2015 and starts at 11am from King George's Field adjacent to St. Donat's Castle, Llantwit Major.

Over 25 people took part is this year's Soweto Walk on 21st June to raise money for Dube High School in the sprawling township of Kwa Mashu in Durban, the Treatment Action Campaign and the ZISIZE Education Trust.

Today on behalf ACTSA (Action for Southern Africa), R8, 000.00 has been deposited into the bank accounts of fifteen South African organisations which are NGOs or charities.
